A TUTORIAL - the chaotic life of a 12 year old
(i'm not really 12..but whatever)
Hey everyone, I just made a tutorial so here it is:

All right, so you start off with your picture:
Image hosted by Photobucket.com

Open the CROP tool and create a square 100 pixels by 100 pixels and move it to the positioning around what you want to crop:

Make sure you crop it so there is more space on one side than the other, as seen here:

Press Shift+B and move the BRIGHTNESS slider to -35, and leave the CONTRAST slider at 0. This will make the image dark, as seen here:

Press Shift+C, and then paste the copied image as a new image (Shift+V) and open the CROP tool again. Create a 40 pixel by 20 pixel square and crop an intersting place on the image:

When you have the cropped image(Image hosted by Photobucket.com), go to the IMAGE drop-down and go to Greyscale. This will make the cropped image black and white (Image hosted by Photobucket.com). Shift+C the cropped image and then paste that onto the original image:

To make the next part easier, I change the opacity of the bottom image to 50 so I can see the top image fully:

Next, use the EYEDROPPER tool to take a color from the bottom image that seems to tie into the picture:

After you have a color chosen, create a new Raster layer between the two layers. Next, open the PAINT BRUSH tool and open the square brush at SIZE: 13, HARDNESS: 100. Making sure you are on the new layer, create an interesting border around the top layer:

Go back to the bottom layer and bring it back to an opacity of 100 (Image hosted by Photobucket.com)

Open the TEXT tool and set your font to Arial Black on SIZE: 2. Type pretty much anything you want, since no one will see it. Then, place the text probably 1/4 into the black and white image:

And you're done! Your finished product should look something like this:

However, it all depends on what image you use, what colors, placement, etc. Good luck!
